Airbox Broken...

OK, in the process of adjusting my valves this weekend; I discovered that the ear that the filter cover clips onto is broken on the back side of my airbox. Does anyone have any suggestions for an aftermarket piece now that I have to replace it anyways?

Matt, this may sound silly but are you sure they are broken? I thought this was the case on mine also but it turned out that I had the orientation of the rear clips the wrong way around on the rears.

I'm assuming you have a 3.2.

Thanks for the thought, but unfortunately, I checked it out with a mirror and can even see the cracked plastic.

I have seen these pretty slick looking conical intakes; that also seem to give a bit more room in the engine compartment...

Anybody?

msdsinc.com sells cone intakes for a pretty fair price.

check for a used box. I got a cover for $25.00. I may be out of line but try Brett at www.911pcc.com to see if they have a used. box.

I could use a air box LID for $25 or so. (3.2 Carrera). If anyone has one, email me.
