replace a boot?
 

Well my pcar needs a new steering boot to pass the TUV inspection, and I have the replacement boot but no idea how is goes on. Any pointers? Special tools? I plan on just jacking up the front end and doing the repair in my parking space, as it looks like I only have to disconnect the tie rod end from the steering rack and then the boot comes off...am I correct?

Nevermind....

I took it too the Auto Skills Center and used a lift and I am glad I did!
It's not that hard to do but it was not something I would have liked to do on my back, just not much room for tools.

Accomplished in 1 hr 45 min...ready for the TUV now.
