993 Cabrio rotor maintainence

Could anyone advise whether I can "service" the front locking rotors on my cabrio top? It seems that there are times when I have to manually (screwdriver in slots) adjust them in order for top to release or fasten...just don't want my winsdscreen top ripped or bent one day due to one rotor working and the other not!! Picture of the beauty/beast is attached.
