87 Targa being parted out!
Was putzing around on the web last night and went to www.dcautomotive.com and under the new arrivals section they just got an 87 Targa in. I called the guy to inquire about the top which looks untouched in the photos hoping he would sell it for $100 bucks or something equally absurd. Anyway he said he would take $2500 for it which probably means $2000. By the way, he said the motor had just been rebuilt for those of you looking to get a 3.2 or a G50 tranny. Interior looks awesome.
Regards to all and I hope this post helps someone out with some of those miscellaneous things we all seem to spend so much time tracking down to save $$$ to keep our marriages intact. Haz

Someone e-mailed me to ask if it was my car and the answer is ABSOLUTELY NOT! My car is safe and sound and in my garage right now (unless my wife is being sneaky).
Additionally, I have no affiliation with them as I live in Texas and try to fly under all forms of radar when possible. Have a great day. Haz

Thanks! I just bought the dashboard for $200. I saw a 951 with Fuchs and asked about them - just sold for $1400 for the set of 7s and 8s. Worst part was the guy tells me they just sat around for a long time! Timing is everything, I guess.

Chris,
EXCELLENT that you found something you needed for a great price. Any other stuff on the car that would be described as pristine? Was the targa top in excellent/good/poor condition? Thanks in advance....did anyone else find any parts they needed? Haz
