911/964/993 Window seals ?

I have been reading in the archives about changing the window seals on an 1987 911 Coupe to the later style from a 964 or 993 and have a few questions.

I understand that the front and rear glass will need to be changed to work with the newer seals. Yes?

My stock back glass has the third brake light at the top of the window and of course no hole through the glass for the rear wiper. Is it possible to get a 964 rear glass with no wiper hole and the high third brake light provision?

I also plan to change the quarter window seals to the later 993 style. Is it possible to use the existing quarter glass from my 87 Carrera?

Thanks everybody. If you have done the same please post your experiences and any photos.

As far as I know the 993 glass can not be retrofitted in and earlier car. The 964 glass comes with the high mount lamp that is under the glass and with or with out wiper hole. I have seen guys put the thin roof line third brake light on the 964, but you will still have the black out line where the inside mounted lamp mounts.

My question that no one has answered, dipite asking all over the place is: Will the early pre 86 rear glass fit the 964?????

My understanding is that if you use 911 or 964 glass you must use the matching seal. This applies if you are updating or backdating.
