Date for the Palisades Fun Run, Tristate Pelicans!
Just in case you missed an earlier thread just wanted to let all the New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and even Pennsylvania
 Pelicans that we're going to do the Palisades, Bear Mtn Fun Run on either October 25th or 26th depending on weather.I'm a rookie at this fun run thing but as they say in other threads someone's got to step up and make a plan or it 'aint happening, so here goes! I'm going to work on a route, a restaurant, a meeting place etc over the next month, so mark it on your calendar and send me an email with any requests, suggestions, etc. Spouses, kids, friends all invited! adammargolis@comcast.net Looking forward to a great time! Just wanted to remind everyone to keep this on your schedules! Got a great route from Jon Bripps, it maybe a bit too long but a shortened version will be great during the October fall foliage!

Restaurant suggestion: Painter's Tavern, in Cornwall, New York, on Route 218. Sal and Peter Buttiglieri are car guys. Sal's got a TT. Peter an '82 SC. Te'' 'em I sent you.

Maybe for lunch, but the thing is, I'm already here, sort of at the end of your fun-run route. Be happy to give you some advice on outstanding local roads, though. I assume you already are aware of Route 218, scene of half the curvy-road TV ads you see?
I'm also probably on volunteer-ambulance duty at least half of each of those days, so I'm liable to meet you if you screw up badly enough in this area... Stephan

Bad choice of dates. The PCA Zone 1 Autocross championships are that weekend at Tobay Beach.
