black paint & tape don't cut it

What's the trick in restoring the black trim around the windows?
1000's of hand washings have burnt thru the black anodize and is exposing the bare metal underneath. Masking and spraying black seems primitive.

Experience anyone ?

if you mean the stuff thats called eropean chrome ... nappa sells the trim collor in a spray can [just scuffanf shoot.] of course you got to mask aera off. tmo

I agree with you that black tape, and spray paint (any kind of spraypaint) don't cut it.

IMO the only proper way is to get it reanodized or powdercoated. Either way, its gotta come off the car.
