No Brake Lights!
My '80 SC brake lights do not illuminate. I've done the obvious, and checked the bulbs. They're fine. Any ideas?

On my 84, there are two pressure switches on the master cylinder. When both go "belly-up," you lose the brake lights. If your car has the same set-up, that's almost certainly the problem. It's a easy fix, and Pelican sells the parts.

Check the fuse.
The 80 may have the mechanical microswitch at the pedal, not sure. Check that too.

I had the same thought regarding the microswitch, Chuck. That's why I made reference to the "same set-up" as on my 84. If it's a microswitch, I think it's located in the cluster behind the floorboard. As I recall, they're adjustable.
