'72 Chevy Chevelle (first car)
'85 Honda CRX (POS)
'86 VW GTI (traded in after electrical fire at 189,XXX miles)
'95 VW GTI VR6 (sold due to too many tickets, it was red)
'86 911 (current ride, in my possession for one year)

I just sold the Chevelle last summer to finance my 911 purchase. Over the 13 years I had it I put a lot of money into it trying to make it go, turn and stop like a 911. It would definitely go. One outta three aint bad.

Gave up and just bought a 911.

Oops. I also had a '56 Chevy two-door that I never finished and 2 Triumph TR4s that I sold to a guy who combined them to get one half-way decent car. There was also a '67 Firebird in there as well that was never finished.

Oh boy....

Every year E-Type Jaguar Roadster made except 1970 and 1974 (Owned over 30 of these)
Every year E-Type Jaguar Coupe made except 1969 and 1970
Every model Austin-Healy 100-4, 100-6 and 3000 made (owned over 20)
Every year Triumph TR6 made (owned over 20 of these)
1969, 1972 Alfa-Romeo GTV
1972 Alfa-Romeo Spider
Many different MGBs and 5 MGAs
4 different series 1 RX7s
Triumph TR2, TR3, TR4, TR250
1972 Lotus Europa twin cam
1959 Alfa-Romeo Guilietta Sprint Veloce
4 different 1969 Porsche 911S's (i cant seem to find any other year early S!)
1980, 1988, 1995 Porsche 911
1977 Ferrari 308GTB
1969 Ferrari 365GTB/4

During the late 1980s to mid 1990s trading in these types of cars was a pretty busy sideline business for me, so I bought and sold many cars. Favorites were always the E Jags, TR6s and Alfas. The GTV is a great car!

The Porsches have all been great cars, no doubt the best engineered of the bunch. The Ferraris are great car too, but for different reasons. Nothing compares to a big V12 howling to 8000rpm!

And now for something completely different...

1957 Mercury Monterey (a boat with drum brakes)
1963 Mercury Monterey (a larger boat)
196x VW Old Beetle (sportomatic? transmission)
1967 Audi 100 LS (their first non 2-stroke, nice car)
196x CitroŽn Dyane (2-cyl aircooled, maybe 630 cc, overturned)
196x Peugeot xyz (forgot...hood flew over windshield-hairy!)
196x Opel Kadett (bought for $200, sold for a bottle of wine)
1972 Opel Manta (my dad destroyed this one)
1981 Opel Kadett (fwd diesel, reliable car)
1990 Opel Kadett (diesel, this one was flattened by freight train)
1990 Opel Corsa (4cyl 1000cc, small sedan, no. 2 car in family)
1999 Renault Kangoo (diesel, good for carrying fishing rods)
1972 Porsche "E" (the engine was a pulled-stud 2.2 L on carbs)
1988 Carrera (hey, this is a car!)

Above lists the cars my dad owned (but I drove them...) as well as the ones I owned (as otherwise the list would be too short and I'd feel ashamed). I spent ard. 1974-1981 without a car (but did have a 1973 BMW 600 cc motorcycle, which was bent in two when I hit a bus which drove through the -red- traffic lights, I came out...unscathed!
