Here's my list:

1) 69 Opel GT 1.9
2) 72 Triumph TR6
3) 79 Audi Fox
4) 85 Toyota MR2
5) 89 VW Jetta GLI 16V
6) 1923 Packard 126 Touring car (sold it to buy the 911. I miss it)
7) 96 Mustang Cobra (4 cam, 32V) - Currently own
8) 82 911 SC Targa - Currently own

Also had some bikes:

82 Suzuki GS550 Katana
84 Honda VF500 interceptor, my first road race bike
87 CBR600f Hurricane, my second road race machine

Sure have been a lot of fun cars owned by this group. I'm surprised at the number of GT-6 Triumphs. A rather obscure car. When I was a kid, my dad had a 67 and it was a neat little mini E-type.

If you've never driven a big, old, open Packard with the top down and the windshield folded open, you're really missing something. When you've got a 5" stroke, you've got an engine.

Regards,

Jerry

My list - in order of purchase

73 FIAT 128 SL Coupe (my first car)
74 FIAT X1/9 (let friend's sister drive it; tranny was never the same)
67 Mustang Convertible (bought for $250; had no floors)
80 Mazda RX/7 (a bore - was stolen)
64 Alfa Romeo Guilia Spyder (bought as a restoration project, but my body and frame guy took a good look and pronounced it dead of rust... held it for 15 years and parted it out on eBay over the last two years)
75 Porsche 911S (bought in 83 off a showroom floor - still have)

While daily drivers, these last two have proven to be 4 door sports cars, so they get honorable mention:

94 BMW 530i (V8 + 5 speed - yum - recently sold after 9 years and 160k great miles)
00 BMW 528i (recently bought - titanium silver sport package w 5 speed - still have and will for a long time)

74 Opel Manta Automatic. -- Actually my parents car, but I drove it most often when I was in high school. They had a 4-sp first, but it got rear ended, so they bought the automatic. Too bad. The 4 speed in Canery Yellow was a cool car.

76 Ford Fiesta -- concurrently with a 2nd Fiesta "parts car". I loved that car and it's unburstable "Formula Ford" motor. Now if only it hadn't run dry of oil...

74 Zink Z10A Formula Ford -- not just a Formula Ford motor, but an entire Formula Ford! A lot faster then I was. Too bad I tweaked the suspension against the wall at Watkins Glen. Learned a lesson about adjusting my line when allowing a faster car down the inside. Repaired it and updated it to even faster Z10C specs, and then sold it to pay for the repairs.

86 Mazda 323 ITB Race Car -- I built this up myself from a clean street car. The car had awsome brakes, and OK handling in it's initial form. Learned a lesson about blindly advancing the timing when I melted a piston and scored the block. Bought a whole engine for a couple of hundred dollars (think about that for a moment all of you 911 owners!). Updated the car's suspension and added a much needed LSD prior to selling the car when my oldest daughter was born. Never did get to drive it in it's updated configuration. I do take some solace in the fact that those who have raced it since me have never driven it faster then I did, despite of the updates.

'69 911E -- True Love. This is a keeper. One day it's destiny is also to become an SCCA race car. For now a daily driver during the nice 8 months of the year.
