I can't believe how many cars some of you have or have had. My meager list goes:

'70 BMW 2002 (got it for $800)
'87 BMW 325is (sold with 245k miles on her)
'87 Porsche 911 (learned all my Porsche lessons on this car)
'96 Porsche 993 (having paid my dues with the Carrera, I just enjoy this one)

Hans, Do you still have the Sunbeam Tiger? I have always wanted to drive one. How was the straight line performance? Do you think it could hang with the other 60s muscle cars like the Corvette, GTO's, SS's and hemi cars?

Oh Boy, this takes some thinking. 53 MG-TD, First Covair ever raced in US, 120 Jag Coupe, Alfa Romao (took second in SCCA Regional at Upper Marlboror MD 1961), TR 3, TR 6, Karmin Ghia, 73 911T, 72 914 2.0, 944 (was on order but the Porsche dealer kept selling it to somebody else so I bought a), 1980 5.0 L Mustang (porshce killer), then 6 or so airplanes and now a 24' boat. Now, kids are educated, house is furnished, wife is on the golf course, fish are in the Bay, meaningful work for somebody else is done, if the price is right a project 79 911 SC is in the future.

Some striking similarities between some of these lists... TR7's, RX7's, GTV's.

'90 VW Corrado G60
'85 RX7 - I can't believe I sold that car
'88 Carrera

I had 2 other interesting (to me) cars in high school in the late 80's. A '69 Buik Le Sabre Coupe - nothing unusual about it, except that it was a hand me down from my grandfather. Early childhood memories of heading to the junk yard with him for parts. Not much cooler than giant magnet cranes and vicious german shepards to a 11 year old. You don't get that at 'Autozone'.

'55 Bel Aire -3 speed moved to the floor, hauled cattle in the trunk prior to a basic restoration that included electric seats from a Ford LTD, slept 6 comfortably

Drew T, The Tiger is a screamer alright. Small, lightweight body, four speed with a ford v8 260 or 289. Mine had a 302 shoehorned in. I also had 9" wide rear tires on 13 " rims. I would say that it could definitely give all muscle cars a run for their money. Very exciting car to drive.

In not particular order:
TR7-what a piece of cr@p
1990 Ford Taurus SHO-Loved it, glad I got rid of it when it started needing parts,
1961 Aston Martin DB4-bought it at 18 years old in the Marine Corps in England and still own it 32 years later, it was originally sold in Switzerland and the British Colonel I bought it from bought it in Sudan, N. Africa,
Toyota Tercel GTS 16 valve DOHC, fun to drive,
84 Targa bought 7 months ago
1929 Rudge Whitworth Grand Prix Ulster 500 cc four valve head motorcycle, which actually raced in the 1929 Isle of Man World Cup, my dad bought it from the racer in Victoria, BC Canada in about 1935
1965 Mustang six cylinder with a 3 speed manual (one of my triplet sisters was killed in it at age 17, the day I went into the USMC)
