964 distributor maintenance

What maintenance does a twin rotor distributo need? How often do you change that little rubber belt? And do you put some oil on the inside of the shaft? What else?

Do you have th eupdate kit installed? If not, that is the main thing to replace so that the generated ozone from the spark doesn't hasten the natural deterioration of the rubber belt.
