61 USD made my 911 look 10 years younger

Today I fitted white blinkers. The car looks much newer with white blinkers. It looks so much better in real rather than on pictures. All I need now is teardrop mirrors.

Yes, Mikkel. Teardrop mirrors, AND the little oval side markers usually found at www.aceparts.com (only the URL doesn't work at the time) That will do it.

Wow, that makes a really nice appearance! I didn't know anyone made cleared signals for the early 911's, good find.

In the UK you have to make sure it still flashes orange (with orange bulbs etc.). Is that the same in Denmark?

I actually prefer square side blinkers.

layzee

It's the same here in Denmark.

82 euro

There are plenty of suppliers selling white blinkers. I got mine from Dansk (yes the company that produce Porsche exhausts).

Wow, very very nice. Where can I buy these in North America? Pelican doesn't seem to have them.

Try imagineauto if pelican doesn't have them. Performance Products may also have them. Anyway you should try e-mailing Wayne about it. He may be able to get them for you.

I can't hold back my curiousity anymore; what does "Fükengrüven" mean?

Oh and here's another pic from about an hour ago before I washed it:

I especially like it with the cup wheels. What's the story on the wheels?

Mine or the 944?

The 944 is for a German forum that has no post function for pictures so I had to dump it somewhere. Sorry for the abuse of bandwidth.

My Cup1 wheels were very very cheap so that's why I bought them. They look so much better than the 15 inch tele dials I had before them. If only they were forged like Fuchs.

Those white lights almost disguise the fact that your car desperately needs 8 and 9 Fuchs

Definately an improvement Mikkel. I did this a while back and I think the all red rear lens' will be my next improvement of this type. The orange lights makes the car look old and tired.

Nice look...Im gonna do this too. The ugly "saftey orange" lights just dont mesh with the rest of the cars.

Did you replace the orange lights in the rear also? Do you have pics?

No I still have the orange rear lamps. I kind of like them so I'm not sure if I'm going to replace them with all red lamps.

I have seen these these white lenses available over the years but only for ROW cars without the additional bumper reflector. No one seems to make the white reflector for that. And I think the one white, one orange lens would look kinda strange.
