Wet driver window

Washed my 86 carrera and then then parked in garage. Two days later, had car out and when I put windows back up, my driver side window was wet on outside; passenger was dry.

I am assuming there are drain holes that must be clogged but beforeI take door panel off wanted to if others have experienced the same.

Thanks
Chris

The water is coming from the weather stripping being soaked. Even if the drain holes were plugged, the window doesn't go far enough down to get wet that way. If anyone knows of a way to make the weather stripping so it is "water repellent" I would like to know. It bugs me to keep having to dry the windows over and over.

My car does the exact same thing. Dr.side wet, never the pass side. I think the door panel has to be taken off and the plastic sheet under the panel adjusted. One of my things to do and soon as the rainy season is starting here:) ric

New window "squeegees" should help, if not take care of the problem. Easy and cheap to replace. About $6 a side if memory serves.

The real problem is this "Washed my 86 carrera and then then parked in garage. "

Better to take the car for a nice long spin (not literally!) so all the hidden crevices will dry out and NOT RUST. it's an old 356 trick but will help the galvanic cars too.

even with new seals you still get water down there (check the edges...it isn't a water tight fit). As a stop gap I put some armorall on my old squeegee...that seemed to help a bit.
