1976 Carrera 3.0 Euro
This car has poped up on here from time to time I think it was even on ebay. Question I have is this, would this car even come close to being emission legal in CA? Owner states it passed in Oregon with out emission equipment. I would think it would not even come close here in CA. Any Thaughts?

It's sure a nice looking car! And it wouldn't be hard to recover that steering wheel

Gorgeous car. I always thought Oregon's smog laws were fairly close to California's.
Are you sure it's a Euro? It's got wide bumper pads in the rear. I thought Euros had smaller bumperettes - about the size of those on a '74 rear bumper. Anyway, I believe the 3.0 Carrera motor is a fairly "clean" engine, efficient and all with CIS. I wouldn't know about a euro version, but regardless, it should run cleaner than a U.S. 2.7 of the same year.

I think the car was converted to US specs as far as the bumpers go, He mentioned it did not have US emissions though. I am not sure if it has a cat or not. Paint is another thing, not positive if it is correct color from the factory as it was re painted a few years back.
