What can I use to protect against rust?
I've taken out my pedal cluster, and replaced all the bushings. While cleaning up all the crud under where the pedal cluster goes the floor felt kinda spongy. Inspecting it a bit further I could tell the coating on the floor there had cracked, and a small area of about 2" square was bubbled up. So I grabbed a screwdriver, and poked a bigger hole, and peeled back the bubbled up part, and found bare, shiny metal.
No rust! Woo Hoo! http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/wat6.gif So what can I use to re-seal this part of the floor to protect it from water, brake fluid, etc. that might find it's way down there in the future? Thanks, |
Couple of thick layers of Por-15?
