Porsche Crest wheel lock???

what is the best way to get the wheel lock (lug nut) off. Previous owner lost the key on the factory Fuchs.

Can I just drill out the lock?

Any suggestions?

There's a top secret way to do it. In fact, it's so top secret that if I were to tell you, I'd then have to kill you.

Seriously, do a search on the board and you'll find your answer. It's not too complicated, but will destroy the locks. Ask me how I know. Buy the modern locks from our host.

I had wheel locks on my car, and when I bought new tires, the tire store "conveniently" lost the key for me. Thus, combined with new tires and the locks, my balance was askew - I was barely able to hold the steering wheel at 55 mph.

Finally, I just had them drilled out and removed. Doing this corrected most of the shimmy in my steering. Turbo tie rods and a good balance and alignment took care of the rest.

Wheel locks are fairly heavy. I'd get rid of them if I were you. Plus, on Fuchs, they stand out like a sore thumb. Just have them drilled out.
