Finally nailed down a quality set of wheels
Im in the process of doing a full overhaul on a 69 coupe. I put Carrera flares on it and was looking for wheels for some time now. Finally got a nice set on ebay. Does anybody have tire size reccomendations ? I will be setting the camber at neg 1.5 deg`s at all 4 corners and relocated the oil lines for clearance. Here`s the ebay link for wheel sizes and offset.

Man, I'd keep those things a secret. They look really cool!!! Just what I've been looking for, although I don't know any of the details whether or not they would fit my car. Not to worry, I've spent too much on other "necessary" things this year to buy new wheels. Next year I'm going to get my BBS wheels refinished. Good luck and post some pics if you get them!!! I'm jealous;)

They do look nice. :)

Kurt-
I would run 245/45-17 fronts and 275/40-17 rears with those rims. You may need to roll fender lips and shave spring plate bolts as well as moving the oil lines to clear them. Front shock dust covers may have to be trimmed also. It's worth it though, for the grip. Nice rims! TT |
If you guys like I can post some pictures of the cars progress later tonight. Im on my way to go the the annual airshow out east.

Nice wheels, unless you are racing, I would go one size smaller than Tom's(TT) rec. just for easier fitment.
235/45 & 265/40, unless you can get some of the new 265/35 or 275/35 rears. I would love to add the front and back space dimensions to my little collection |
