FIA identity card, what modifications are permitted?

As the Targe is basically finished I have been thinking about a new project. I have an option to buy a 69T. This car is currently fitted with a 2.4T engine, but the original 2,0 also comes with the car,

To run a car in historic rallys a "FIA identity card" is required in most cases.

Obviously I could rebuild the car as a standard 69 911T, but if I am in there why not do some upgrading.
I could go the S/T route or opt for a 73RS clone.

Another option would be to use 2.2S pistons and cams I have lying around.

Have any of you experiences with FIA identity cards and upgrades to a standard 911? Is there, apart from FIA itself any source of information on this subject?SmileWavy

Have you taken a look at the FIA web site? You might want to also check with the race series(s) that you plan to participate in. If they are running with an FIA sanction, they might specify in their rules what constitutes a "historic race car"
