Im installing a Sony Xplod in the P car, and I have a Yellow, a Red, and a Black wire (s). Where do these 3 connect to ?

The photos show Blue wire, A yellow with Red stripe wire, and a black wire. Of which the black and the yellow with red strip are connected to one connector.

I need some help please.

before going any further I would recommend that you get a vol. tester so that you know if any of these wires are hot. In my experience on the older cars a lot of time wires are spliced in over the years and not strickly by color code. In short (no pun intended) treat each wire as suspect until you prove that it is not hot. Some wires are left unconnected b/c they were for options which were either not selected by the first owner or that were deleted by later owners.

I would agree that your would need a voltmeter (or be cheap like me and tape some wires to a lightbulb) to figure out th color code on your car. It stereo should be Black to ground, Red to battery pos (for the stereo's memory like station presets), and yellow to the ignition hot (the poser that turns on when your car is on). If your black and yellow w/red are hooked to one connector, it sounds like that is the positive connection (probably to the ignition hot, check to see if they are hot when the car is off to find out). Blue would then be ground. Dont take my word for it though, test it with a meter first. I have seen too many people guess and cook their stereos. good luck kris out
