door speaker depth - max?
I have searched here and there seems to be some difference in view point on just how deep a speaker can be installed in the door of a 911. I'd like to run 6.5. Would you audio gurus please give me the final word on this? I want to us BA's top of the line 6.5
thx James |

Pretty easy to measure. Just take the cover off. Unscrew the speaker and it will fall out in your hand. Then you can measure whatever you need

I don't have speakers in the doors now and I keep my car in a storage unit so it is not easy for me to get to it. I am looking at some bostons right now and was thinking I'd grab 'em before my next cab ride to the storage place ahh, I mean "shop" ;-)

My bad. I didn't even think that they came with out speakers. I had mine out but I didn't measure in there. I am sure someone here will know the answer though.
