73 1/2 911T Smoking

Just got my T out of storage and did the following: oil and filter change, points, distributor and rotor replaced. Timing/dwell set to spec. Now it smokes pretty bad (even after warm up). Engine is original with 128000 miles. Any suggestions before I take it in to the pro's?

Is the smoke coming from the exhaust? Was the oil overfilled?

Was it smoking before you put it in storage? If not I suspect a bunch of oil got past the rings when it was in storage. How long have you run the car since you got it out of storage? I guess I also should ask how long you had it in storage.

Don't think it was smoking prior to storage. I'll double check the oil level on the dip stick. It was in storage for about 4 months. Smoke is definitely coming out the exhaust pipe.

Does it smoke all the time? When cold? When hot? During Acceleration? During decelleration? Smoke at idle? Out the exhaust pipe or off heat exchangers?

Some details please.

What's wrong with smoke? I thought smoke was good. Although I like exhaust smoke, my favorite is when oil drips on the heat exchangers. Everytime I stop at a light, I expect someone to yell at me that my car is on fire.
