"Florida, The Clothing Optional State"

I saw that story in the SPT yesterday. The area Pelicans are getting together on the 12th, and I was gonna try to track these people down and invite them to our get together. It's a very cool story.

Ford Smith is a class act! he is also the kind of guy that makes it tough on the rest of us. I showed the article to my wife yesterday, she said Hmmmm, what a thoughtful person. Then I remembered thet her birthday is in a week. I think i'm going to be hard pressed to match that! I'm screwed!!!

Hmm, I don't think an early p-car would ring my wife's bell. It would mine! I don't get it, but, she likes things that sparkle. Craig

Actually Lee...I offered to buy her a 993 Cab or Boxter and she said no. ..partly because she wants a 350Z and party because she's more frugal with my money than I am. ..and party because she is waiting for something that "sparkles"! Damn it Craig! This thread is really starting to piss me off!

Damn! Like I said..this thread is starting to piss me off! I was thinking my lady might get one idea (like buying me another 911 that might have special meaning to our kids later...) to selling my rides for a ring! Sheet!! No way man. I'm staying single...

I'm with you, bro. In this case, leasing makes a lot more sense than purchasing.

Apparently there are a few women out there who don't go for the DeBeers "buy a diamond to prove your looove" propaganda. A friend at work tells me of how he and his wife agreed that instead of an engagement ring, they'd put the money into buying a better house. Now they have a bigger and better house that they both can enjoy.

a bigger home she's got! Isn't it true that DeBeers created the whole engagement ring thing..very good marketing..but a bunch of sheet!

Don't get me wrong, she's not a gold digger (not that I'd be smart enough to know ..but..). But damn...women are expensive..and they (most of 'em) take all the time you might have spent in the garage or on a track!
