Triad Mufflers for 3.6 Transplants

I emailed and spoke with Triad: http://www.triadwestperformance.com/Products.htm
about potentially producing a muffler for the 993 heat exchangers. The muffler on their website looked like it wouldn't take much re-configuring to bolt up to the 993 exchangers. It would be a nice clean solution to all of the exhaust options, some of which are really expensive. I am going to send Triad a 993 cat to be used as a jig for flange shape and position. I'll post as things develop.

I have SSI's and a Triad on my 3.2. Great people, great product.

I talked to them a month or so ago about the same thing. They were less enthusiastic a while ago. Let me know when you get one. I'd love to give it a shot.

Another plus is the premuffler kind of-sort of looks like a cat.

The guy I talked to seemed busy but very interested? He said that the previous owner had partially started such a project.

Ya never know, I may have been getting the major BS job just to get me off of the phone. I hope not.
