I have seen KarreraMotorsports Wiessach up in Palm Beach. Absolutely beatiful car, along with several other vintage Porsches in his stable. Roger is extremely knowledgeable and detail oriented. He was also very nice to me when I was looking at a car he had for sale.

Are You the one who restored it & if so were you trying to restore it to original?
Are those seat inserts perforated?
Did you save the original dash?
Is that a custom console?
Are the rear wheels 9 in.? They came with 8".
Are the windows tinted?
What entailed blueprint & balance? What else was done to the motor?
Why no pictures of the engine or front of the car?
Has the car been repainted?
It's hard for me to give an opinion without these answers? But looking at the pictures it looks as if complete originality wasn't the goal in the restoration.

Hey PSCHRUP SmileWavy

Are You the one who restored it & if so were you trying to restore it to original? ?I am the one who restored it, however I was not going for complete orignality

Are those seat inserts perforated? Yes

Did you save the original dash? That is the original Dash with the leather pulled off

Is that a custom console? Original console with volt meter added and fan switch for AC condensor, the second switch is to turn the volt meter on/off

Are the rear wheels 9 in.? They came with 8" Yes, I upgraded to 16" 7s and 9s. the 15 inch wheels i used on my RS Carrera

Are the windows tinted? Yes, last month

What entailed blueprint & balance? The motor had some oil leaks and it was very easy to send everything out while the motor was still running strong

What else was done to the motor? reground 964 cams, port and polished heads, all new head studs, New main bearings and rod bearings

Why no pictures of the engine or front of the car? It can send you a picture if you wish, it looks completely stock exept for the K & N filter.

Has the car been repainted? It was painted 13 years ago, documented, garage kept all of its life
I knew the last 2 owners, i took it on trade for my 89 turbo.
It's hard for me to give an opinion without these answers

Roger It looks like you have a very nice car, I'm sure who ever buys it will be happy with the upgrades you've made.

I am just starting what I hope to be a five year plan to restore my Weissach, it truely needs it. I struggle with originality & wonder if it is worth being anal over. It can be such a PITA, but I guess that is supposed to be half the fun.

I hope you have success selling you car.

let's put it this way, after riding in AntiCHP's Weissach (Mike B) - I never looked at my own SC again the same way. I witnessed it all from the passenger seat as I flew out to N. California and rode along for 2 full days at a Sears Point raceway NASA event. This was last year and my SC had 72K original miles. The previous owner had concoured it for 21 yrs - and I was feeling guilty if i'd merely sneezed inside.

AntiCHP's Weissach simply hauls ass! Not only that, you'd be amazed at how clean it looks after having been tracked for 12 years with 200K plus miles. I picked up quickly how capaple these cars are - and how Porsche really intended for them to be used.

Rather humbling for me as a newbie, but worked for some great motivation and proved to be a great learning experience. Thanks again Mike B! Three more DE's to go for me this year and they're not here soon enough!

FYI,

My sister finally sold her Weissach two weeks ago.

$10,500. Someone got a really nice driver, and a pretty good deal.

Tinker.
