convert CIS fuel line to Carb fuel lines question

Changing the cis to carbs, the cis pressure and return lines, should i just cut them and push in some fittings to hook it all up or is there a set of fittings that will allow me to keep from cutting the lines. It's on a 77 911.

If it were me, I wouldn't cut the lines. I would make some fittings. I find it hard to find the fittings though. You could post in the classified or try a junk yard for the various fittings

Use the pressure side. Why would you not use it?

For the return, put a cap on the tank fitting. Leave the metal return line in the tunnel and simply remove the rubber hoses. Electric tape over the metal line ends to prevent yunk from getting in there, just in case it every gets used again.

I thought that if I can find the right parts to use the return also to keep it from rusting over time. Looked for the parts and have not found them yet. im sure I will find something.

You should use the return line. PMO has a recirculating fixture with integral pressure gauge. Just route the pressure line in, and the return line out, and the two other fittings on the fixture got to each carb. Now you have a recirculating, high volume system. They supply a return line pinching device so you can set the pressure to 3.5 psi.
