Exclamation '74 Targa - Roof Locks Shot - Help?

My roof locks are jammed/ broken in lock position.

My 74 Targa was converted to a cabriolet, but the top of the cab has the same locks as the previous Targa Top, or it marries to the same windshield header. The locks (cam lock style) use a T shaped handle to operate, with a large flathead slot at the lock. The lock engages to the window header with two L shaped arms that lock into place when the T handle is turned.

One of the locks has broken internally and locked in place and I want to remove it and hopefully replace it.

1. Does anyone know where I can buy new cam locks? I'll call host tomorrow, but not on their web.

2. Can anyone help me with removing the locks?

3. Anything else on this topic.

Thanks

Note: We visited Calgary this past weekend (yes we took in the Stanley Park car show Saturday) and during our wonderful visit to the big city some JERK took a knife to my top and cut a slit about 8" long in it. I'll probably be buying a new top now anyway, which may or may not come with the right cam locks?

Thanks in advance for any help on this topic!

If you cannot get what you need at Pelican, I have used :
http://www.carsinc-nj.com/
for unusual targa parts with good results. I just emailed and described what I needed.
Also
http://store.yahoo.com/partsobsolete/tartopsunpar.html
is another source of info.

Thanks Flintstone!

I found the part through Performance, Pg. 220 of their Winter 2002 Catelogue. But ...... OUCH! Their called up as Targa Top Latch and two of them costs just about the same as a top?

I found a source for some used ones in Kelowna, but I've got to go and check them out first. Still not sure how to unlock the jammed up one, but I'm planning to dig into it this afternoon.

World Upholstrysells latches...but expensive
http://www.worlduph.com/porsche4.htm

Autos International say they repair latches....see at end of catalog
http://www.autosintl.com/catalog/cat.html#21

I think that before I paid almost $300 for a latch, I would buy one of those one-piece fiberglass "sparetops" that sell for $299. Then watch EBAY for a cheap latch.
Good luck

Rob how did your saga work out? Mine won't lock so I am hoping you fixed it cheap and I'll be able to do the same
