C2 Update

I'm thinking of updateing to the C2 body style '94 ish is this possable does any body have pics to share?http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1064789604.jpg

Lots of companies offer the C2 look for earlier cars but why ruin a good thing. Your car looks great as is and will be worth more in the long run if you keep the factory panels and trim on it.

With that said a really nice all carbon fiber conversion would be nice!

I think you'll be better off just putting on some Cup 2 17" wheels and leaving the body alone.

Mikkel has a perfect looking 1984 Coupe with Cup rims. Check it out..

I recently completed a C2 update on my car. I'm very happy with it. You can shed some pounds in the process. There are minor mods needed to complete (brackets and such). There are companies that sell the kit (better bodies etc).

Here's a link to one (no affiliation)

And a couple pics of mine:

Mark, what kinda $$ did that run you? Looks very nicely done.

Thanks for the compliment Moazam. I had the bumpers painted professionally and I installed them myself. The whole deal probably ran about $2500 in parts (not including shipping) & paint, and a weekend or two of my labor to install. Most of the existing mounting points on the car can be used to attach the new bodywork.

DOes anyone know a source for a front spoiler/airdam to use with a 964 front bumper?...kinda like the one Bill Verburg uses on his RUF setup...

thanks

Here's my C2 lightweight conversion (parts from Betterbodies). This picture was before I put the glass in. You gotta love it

Hey Akron nice car. Do you know what the final weight is?

schubee 09-29-2003 08:14 AM

Matt,

Your car looks great! Where did you get your front euro lenses?

Btw, is it me or is your passenger side view mirror mounted way too forward? Hmmm....

needlevalve 09-29-2003 11:11 AM

Hey schubee, I got the euro lenses off of ebay (can't remember what company) and the bumperette replacements from http://www.msroadrace.com (also on ebay). Ya my mirrors are further forward *good eye*, the holes were already there, presumably for earlier style mirrors.
