Those were some "FAT" bugs, is it adding weight to the front end?

Kick ass. Im still sitting on my spare tire in the garage making vroom vroom noises inside the car. The pace on the car will pickup shortly then us narrow bodies can start really terrorizing everyone. Your car is looking mighty happy I must say you lucky guy you. Catch you later

Tyson,

This is off topic but what wheel and tire sizes are you running on Scrappy in the pictures above?

Thanks,

Did you secure the battery in that car? At last year's Hershey Swap Meet, James had this yellow top optima sort of loosely held in with a couple wads of kleenex, with the positive terminal about an inch from the edge of the gas tank. I explained to him that this was yet another definition of "ignition points" and recommended that he insulate it with material more robust, like the yellow pages or something.

Just kidding, knowing you I'm sure it's in 100% shape. But I never pass up an opportunity to simultaneously throw a compliment and bust on Shira. . . .

The wheels are 15X7 front and rear, with 205/55 front, and 225/50 rear.

Yeah I got the bugs off the next day when it poured down rain. I let the rain loosen them up, then wiped them off.

John, I put in the WEVO box just like I had in Scruffy. James had bought it for Scrappy, but never got around to putting it in. I plan to incorporate a kill switch just like I did in Scruffy as well. A roll bar is in the forefront too.

The bugs at Willow Springs are due to all the rain. It's the first time I can ever remember green grass on the infield there.

Did a roadtrip to Phoenix from Austin and back. I spent THREE HOURS cleaning the bug guts off of the front of my car. This was in my Tiburon, tho. Haven't driven the Porsche much since I just got her.

Reminds me of the Cicada bug gauntlet last year at Taj.
You could literally hear them in the woods along the freeway at 4500 rpm, windows up. Believe me - those windows damn well BETTER have been up - those exoskeletal suckers make quite a solid splat!!

Oh my god I just have to tell a little story...I was driving my Boxster top down/windows down last year during Cicada season and one bounced off the inside of my left rear view mirror and pelted me right in the face! Man that hurt! ...and it's a good thing I had shades on!
