question re Diavia A/C kits

hi all,

i came across a local A/C shop that could install A/C into my 1987 carrera coupe, which never had A/C.

the guy said he could make a custom installation or we could use a Diavia kit. Diavia say that the only kit they make is for the 1989 model year and on, i.e. cars from the 964 on. Since the 964 is at least somewhat like the 911 does anyone know what the differences might be that are significant re installing A/C?

thanks

hugh

Why don't you consider buying one of the many pulled A/C systems from a Pelicanite and updating. May be much less.

I would suspect the 993 system is quite a bit different in stock form. Never heard of Diavia.

A search on Google discloses that Diavia is a manufacturer of AC systems, based on Europe. All of the websites are eastern european, including Germany.
