PMO Float gauge question
I have a PMO float guage and the instructions say that you adjust to be between the two lines. Prollum is, there are FOUR lines!
I would guess each of the two twin-line bands really represent one line? ...and that the fuel level should be between those two...? |
Hello Chris,
i think the two top lines is for weber and the two lower is for zenith carb, ihope i have the good ajusment ... Ray |
Chris, Raynald is right. Top meniscus is Weber lower meniscus is Zenith.
Have fun! |
Cool, thanks gents!
Darn directions weren't clear at all! I hope this solves my "Right turn miss". Chris |
Chris-
Have you done the float bowl pickup baffle mod already? If you are cutting out in long corners from fuel slosh in the chamber due to the G-force, it may be that baffles are the answer instead of float level, maybe? Also, I think it was Walt Fricke on the Rennlist who once mentioned that some people set the level higher in the bowl which feeds two barrels (I think it's the chamber towards the front of the car, but I'm not positive) vs. the one that feeds only one. Maybe that would help? TT |
