g-50 trans swap
will a g-50/52 directly replace the stock g-50 in my 87 carrera?
anyone done this before? thanks keith |

Keith since no one posted ill keep it going, i think i read that the later trannies are longer, so if its a later trany? call patrick he will tell you

iam not sure. but if your looking for a g50/52 i have one. california motorsports or patricks might know if it fits.

What is a G50/52 out of? Measure the difference in overall length of the trannys and see if you have the room. I can tell you one thing. Jim Patrick won't tell you.

i think you have to change the nose cone and machine the bell housing. its out of a 91 turbo i think. i bought it 3 years ago from turbo performance
