Front turn signals ?
 

I've recently bought an 86 coupe and I have a front turn signal question (since I'm not too familiar with these cars)

It seems that I have two lamps per side, one facing forward and the other almost like a side marker on the bumper.
When I use my turn signal, only the sides flash. but the front facing ones work with the headlights on. (but not flashing, they just seem to be parking lights.
Is this normal? or is something wired wrong.
My alarm will flash the 2 side facing ones but not the forward facing ones.

I've thought that both (4) lamps would blink notifiying the others that I'm making a turn. If you see my car come towards you, you can't see my blinker.

I don't think that's right...check to make sure you have the proper bulbs...maybe the PO replaced them with wrong ones.

Well I took the plastic lenses off the front turn signals. The side one had a 2 way bulb, one for parking light and one for blinker.
The one up front was just a little bulb only for a parking light

Now I know there's a lot of 86 911's out there reading this, can anyone walk out to there car and see if that's right.
