At my wedding my wife chose periwinkle for all the bridesmaids to wear. If you paint your 911 periwinkle I'm sure my wife would go crazy for it. You'll have to post pictures when you're done so I can show her.

If I can figure out the paint code it just may happen. But I want the Porsche paint code. I don't have much faith in custom mixing in these parts.

You realize that if you do paint your car that color, I will have to paint mine Chartruse, then it will be on and the cops will not let us drive in front of the courthouse

I have been searching all day for the code. I am beginning to think there is no paint code for Periwinkle.

I just looked through several of my books and can't find reference to "Periwinkle" either. What year range did you think this color was? Jeff |

I saw a 1976 930 supposedly one of five painted Periwinkle that year.

I did a search on the Glasurit site for Periwinkle and Immergrün and there was no match. Maybe it was a paint to sample color.

Only one useful site turned up from a google search for a Periwinkle paint code -- for '73 - '77 Alfa's ...

There is no Porsche periwinkle. There are a couple different shades though, it depends if you want something more blueish, or more purpleish. VW bug has the bluer color, along with Dodge Neons, here is a shot of the purpler color that I am leaning towards.. |

Thanks guys. Sometimes I get kuhrazzy ideas! I am still about a year out for a color change. Just want something different. Maybe I will also look at early '70's mopar paint!

Aubergine is one of my favorite early 911 colors.
Maybe I will go to Lowes and get an interior gloss Periwinkle paint chip, take it to the automotive paint store and have it scanned...
