Yikes, my heater bypass vent hose not connected to distrubtor
Mine has been disconnected. Should I reattach this tube to the base of the distributor and why is it there.
I saw thison an ebay item for sale and the description is as follows: This heater bypass has a proper air take-off for your distributor vent, and can be setup with a T if you also need a tailight vent. The line going to myu distributor has been loose since i have owned the car. Here is a pitcure of the line to which I am referencing. Can this cause problems when disconnected.

I believe that is the ozone breather tube and it should be attached. Early 3.6s didn't have that tube and the lead to premature deterioration of the belt runing the 2nd distributor.
