Angry Help! '77 911S won't start

Hi,

My '77 2.7 won't start. I don't have spark.

I'm wondering if my CD box is bad? Symptoms leading up to tonight include:

1)I've never heard the box "whine"
2)Starting has been awkward lately, with the tach jumping all around, even at a decent idle (only on startup)
3)Miss at 3000 RPMS or so until warmed up

I intalled new coil, etc. this spring... I'm getting gas, etc. It seems to be a spark issue. I also have pertronix electronic ignition which I installed this summer.

Any help would be great.

Thanks!

Never mind! The ground attatched to the pertronix is cruddy. I think I'll have to replace the wire as it's old and brittle... I wiggled it and the thing started right up!

Thanks
