Special Le Mans movie viewing w/ Vic Elford
On October 19th at the Grove in Anaheim Ca. (2 blocks east of dunkel bros. swap meet, north side of Anaheim Stadium parking lot) they are
presenting a special viewing of le Mans the movie. There will be over 500 Porsches on display including many vintage race cars and the 911S that Steve McQueen drove in the movie will be there. maybe even a 917 or two from the movie. In addition Chad McQueen (Steve's son), Antonio Sabato Sr. and Jr. will be there, and (drum roll please)......Vic Elford. That's big time. The doors open at 4 and there's a live auction of Porsche stuff at 5:30, followed by an informal Q&A with the special guests. movie starts at 7 pm. I believe the cost is $20 and it's for a charity so it is deductable. There is a write up about this event in this month's Pendemonium newsletter (Orange Coast Region of the PCA) on page 24, it is posted on the OCR/PCA website www.vista.pca.org/ocr |

Vic was just here in Indy for the F1 race. He was the guest speaker at the PCA dinner the night before the race. He was very entertaining and very personable. A true gentleman.
