head temp sensor
Wayne do you sell the tool to remove the head temp sensor from #3.

Kieth, You can cut the old wire off and use a standard socket to remove it and needle nose pliers to install the new one.

I think there's a Pelican Tech article on replacing the head temp sensor. It's not a difficult job...just a PITA.

Keith,
Its a standard 13 or 14mm deep socket to take it out. To install the new one go to a pawn shop or flea market and buy one just like it that you do not mind grinding on a bit. Take it home and grind a notch in it so you can fit the wire inside and then slightly tighten it down. The real bear on my car (with SSI's) was getting to the puppy in the first place. Put the car up on jack stands and go through the LH rear wheel well. Joe |
Getting that big grommet off was a pain (no room to work). WD 40 makes it pop right back in.
