Great Chaparral pictures. Curt, you probobly know this one. What was the name of a car back in the 70's with an injected Chevrolet V8, in a mid-engined Can-Am style chassis but the car was very small. It had go-cart sized tires on it. I think it was a Chaparral, and I want to say that Donohue or Follmer drove it. This car looked like a go cart with a V8. It was really dangerous looking.

Jim Hall, a true American innovator and all around genius. Did you see his interview at Goodwood on SPEED? He was amazed that it took the F1 designers 2 yrs. to catch on to the significance of the rear spoiler.
Any idea what track photo C4 68B Ham 66a was taken at? It's the one with the water in the background. edit: oh yeah, Bridgehampton...and thanks for the Pete Lyons link, great stuff!

Here's a few. I think this first one really captures the absolutely bizarre nature of the Mk. 1!!!

Miss the Bridge..... I never drove a car there, but I did drive a Honda Interceptor 650 a few times during bikes days at the Bridge..nothing like turning in and getting some weight on the front tire while traveling through the windblown sand and potholes on the apex LOL
![]() Damn I miss the Bridge.....
