H4 Bulbs

Just picked up a couple of H4's, minus bulbs. Anybody have a recommendation of what bulbs to use for the street that will illuminate everything but the red lights on a passing patrol car?

It depends what kind of look you want. If it's just brighter yellow halogens, Sylvania makes this extra bright one...forget what the official name is. If you want the brightness in white (HID look), my favorite has been the PIAA Super and Extreme Whites (soon to be available from Pelican). Not cheap by any means, but they really brighten up everything. If you choose to run 100w bulbs, be sure to wire a relay in between it and the switch.
