PPI in SFO Area

I am looking at a couple of 911's in the San Francisco area. One just south of San Fran and the other in Vallejo. I am not sure, but I believe that's near San Fran as well. Where should I get a PPI done, any ideas? Thanks.

Tony Heyer of Heyer Perfomance is the best damn Porsche mechanic in the world. My family used to take our p-cars there when we lived in the Bay Area. He is located in Mountain View right off the 101.

Cheers,
Grind

I have not used Heyer Performance personally, but I have received recommendations on them. Mountain View is about 30 minutes south of SFO, and it will be closer to your cars than the shop I use (T&D Performance in Campbell).

Vallejo is significantly further north and east: On the northeast side of San Pablo Bay. There is a shop in Concord listed on the PCA Golden Gate Region's website: http://www.pca-ggr.org/localmechanics.html
I think that they might be the closest to your Vallejo potential purchase.

Good luck,
Tom

Spyder Girl,

I live just 6 miles from Vallejo and I don't know of a Porsche shop in that town. The closest one is in Concord, which is about 20 miles away. This is the address and contact number:

Deutsche Motorsport
Tom Martenot
288 Sally Ride Dr, #4
Concord, Ca. 94520
925-689-0232

I've never used him but if I can't fix my SC soon, I'm having it towed there.

PBR Restorations is just across the bridge in Crockett. About 3 miles from Vallejo. I have had Pete work on my car and have always been happy with the service.

PBR Restorations
1315 Wanda Street
Crockett, CA

510-787-2200

Hope this helps.
