930s Steering Wheel Option = Momo Corse

OK, I know the 930s Steering wheel is really the upgrade. I guess I have consistently swam against the stream – and I really don’t like the gaudy looking gold crest – though the rest of the wheel looks beautiful.

Instead I went with the momo corse – the only one on my block so far – but I really like the look & feel of this wheel. The Porsche horn button is a little more understated. Very pleased…

Looks nice. I went with the 930S because it looked more OEM than the Momo. Either way, they both look pretty good.

Yeah I didn't like the 930 wheel a whole lot..partly because the harn pad looks like it's falling off..so I went with a MOMO Race with the Porsche Crest..love the way it feels.

I've been thinking about getting the Momo Race myself. What size did you get? I want to go smaller than factory, but I want to be able to park too. (btw, what is the factory diameter?)

I did the Mod 7 MOMO to get a little more leg clearence with the 1.5" of dish. Little harder to get a comfortable 10/2 hand position but it is good enough for the GT-2 cars

I see Souk has spun his speedo counter clockwise to be able to read it better, as did I. The 180mph speedo gives you even more and the 220 the best view in that position. I can now clearly see 135 under the 350cm Momo wheel.

I also spun my Tach as shown. I recently replaced it with a RUF style tach dial that redlines at 12:00. The set up is much better than what I have shown here. North Hollywood Speedo did the work for a reasonable price. I also have rebuilt 150mph and a 180mph speeds for sale along with 2 Sparco wheels.

The Momos are typically 350s. I think stock is 370 or 380. I also have a 330 Sparco which and about as small as I want to go. The smaller wheels are very easily to manipulate, even while parking.

I really like the two MOMO leather wheels shown. Do either have any dish in them?

The stock is about 380mm the Corse is available in 320 and 350mm. No dish. I went with 350mm which is the same size as the 930s wheel. Very well constructed - standard MOMO Porsche Adapter. Easy in - pm me with the source for the NLA horn pad. They are scarce - sometimes show up on e-bay...

Souk - love your wheel too...

I had a couple of private messages on the Tach costs @ North Hollywood Speedo. Mine was $110. I changed my redline to 6500 and had a green line added between 4000 and 5500. Now 6500 sets directly at the high beam light and at 12:00 o'clock. Turn around was 5 days in the shop for both!

They regularly show up on eBay, like http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2435761614&category=33704

Just took off my MOMO Corse and replaced it with a stock wheel with the extended hub, much more comfy and now I can see the gauges and speedo. Anyone interested in a cherry Corse (320mm) and adapter?

(I like stock)

Where did you get an extended hub for the stock wheel?

I have the same problem with my 330 wheel, even with a 1.5" extension, just not able to see the gauges. The 350s are bad enough.

I'm thinking about changing out my wheel as well. Getting in and out is tough with the stock wheel being so close to the seat.

I like both the Momo and the 930s, but I do think the 930s looks a little more "factory".

I swear I read an article where someone painted the crest on a 930s wheel, silver.....Maybe it was in Excellence?
