Runs much better, now a muffler needed

If you saw my thread on the bad miss where I was going to start by just putting on new plug wires, well, bingo. Problem solved.

I do need to choose an exhaust. Right now, it's got a clapped out Manta on it now with the Ferrari style tips sawed off. Pretty loud but a great sound. I've heard sport mufflers that sound like they are constipated. Don't know about mufflers much. An old blown out but intact bannana stock muffler sounded pretty good on my old '77. I'm tempted to try one of the Mantas if I can subdue the 2 twin pipe tips. Almost sounds like headers with megaphones with a few towels drapped over the ends. I could live with that.

Comments, suggestions?

Factory sport muffler is my favorite. I know a guy who has one that he'll let go. I can have him bring it in, and you could try it. You could pick it up when you come in to get that decklid. You can also hear one on my car. I'll let you drive my car, and you'll be hooked. They soung great! Or you may hate it. But at least you'll know!

I LOOOOOOOVE the sound of my dual in dual out Borlas...though I don't think they're available anymore. That, and they may be a little loud for most people. I remember reading good things about a factory sport muffler with an extra tip welded to the other side. Dansk is also a popular choice, and I believe Pelican should still have it.

I have a Triad West on SSI's. Not too loud at idle, and at every autocross, people tell me how much they love the sound of my car at 6000 rpm.
