Is there an easy tip for reconnecting the feed lines when replacing the master cylinder?
Is it better to leave the rubber boots in the cylinder and feed the lines in or put the boots on the lines and feed them both into the master cylinder? This has to be an easy part of the job but I'm stuck. Thanks guys,

The first one and lube the fittings with brake lube before you fit them. And they can give you fits

I finally ended up disconnecting the lines up at the resovoir and pulling them out the bottom of the car. I then easily connected them to the m/c by tipping them & the grommets, then threaded the lines + m/c together up through the footwell & into the trunk.
It was simple that way. --Mike |

Yes, just finished this project, using this same advice, and it worked like a charm. I don't know how long it would have taken me to try and hook those blasted grommets up.
