Compression #'s on 3.2 out of factory?
Newbie question:
What are the compression numbers on a 3.2 fresh out of the factory? The compression numbers I got back ranged from 180 to 170 on a motor with 123K miles. 2nd newbie question: Should I get a leakdown test after seeing these numbers? |

Jess here are the compression and leakdown numbers on my 3.2 with 133,000 miles. Ignore the bad cylinders (which is why I am in the middle of a rebuild)
#1: Compression 145, leakdown 80% #2: Compression 180, leakdown 8% #3: Compression 180, leakdown 6% #4: Compression 190, leakdown 2% #5: Compression 60, leakdown 100% #6: Compression 205, leakdown 8%
