Crankcase pulley mark
I started the valve adjustment yesterday. I found out my crankcase pulley does not have Z1 mark as stated in Wayne book to find the TDC. When my distributor points to cylinder 1, the crankcase pulley has two marks, which one do I choose?
Thanks, ![]()

the left one denotes TDC on #1 and #4 cylinders. the right one is the factory suggested total advance limit.

John, Why would they put a reference point for advance on a DME car? When would you use this mark? Why would you use it?
Thanks, Ben
