dipping/cleaning a 2,2 engine case
Now it's time to clean my 2,2 engine case. I want to haul it to some place local. Being that it's a mag case does it have to be cleaned any differently than an aluminum or cast iron engine?
Is it okay to just drop it off at NAPA and let them dip it?

Don't just drop it off anywhere! A normal hot tank used for aluminum or iron blocks will errode your mag case. Find someone that you are sure knows how to clean a mag case.
