Exclamation NIce 1979 911 sc

I saw this nice one on the weekend.

Spoke to the mechanic who tells me that he replaced all headstuds with steel ones. He also put hydraulic tensioners on it because the old tensioners had collapsed. In the rebuild he reused the old pistons and barrels.

The only problem with the car is that it takes a few cranks to get it started and then it blows a whole lot of white smoke out of the exhaust.

Also when cold and you put your foot on the accelerator it hesitated a bit in the high revs. Its not a smooth increase in acceleration !

What do you guys think?

Is a 91193008_ _ an american car ?

is the engine 63912_ _ an 1979 sc engine ?

Thanks in anticipation .

The VIN is a Rest Of World + Japan number for a 1979SC.

The engine number is definitely 79SC, too.
