Porsche Logo Floor Mats
Anybody had any experience with this guys selling Porsche floor mats on eBay with the logo embroidered on them?
I have been looking for a while and few people provide them? I am going to order them and I will let you know (good feedback on eBay)

Vance,
I've been looking for mats with the crest all year -- please let us know if you are satisfied with the product. |

I wonder how long before he gets a letter from Porsche's lawyers...

These are very nicely done mats, and he also can provide a rear deck mat with the same logo. The fit and finish is very good. This seller also does not represent them as the plush pile style mat found elsewhere (minus logo), yet they are still a very nice low cut, easy to clean mat. The seller is also very responsive to your requests, including sending pieces for you to use to match your interior colors, and delivers quickly upon receipt of funds.

Porsche Licenses a lot of people to make floor mats.

I believe Porsche licenses many companies to produce parts like matts.

I was at the German Autofest this weekend and my wife bought a set for her 79 SC from AASE. $125.00. They had the Porsche crest and the Porsche signiture on them. They look great. New, old, knockoffs can't say but the tag had a bunch of german looking writing on it which my wife threw out when she stuffed them into the suitcases.
He had red and silver embroidering. I only questioned him on the black mats. Nice guy

My bad. I was under the impression that Porsche only authorized the ones that are available directly from them. I've got a set of Lloyd's mats in the 914 and the 911, and was told that the new "factory" mats are not as nice. I've been resigned to the fact that my next set of mats would have to be Lloyd's with no logo. Guess there's hope after all!

Bruce - Thanks. I went ahead and ordered both the deck and floor mats. His eBay feedback was very good - consistent with what you say. Not cheap. I will let you know when I get them!

I got my set today (fronts and deck), and they're terrific. Great fit & finish, well worth the $$.

I'm pretty sure David is correct about Porsche not granting license to anyone else to do PORSCHE or the crest on floormats. If you want to buy from this guy, you might want to do so soon before PCNA closes him down.

freedom of speech=custom emb. to customer spec's
hard to sue the guys for that... Bull-shinto buddy-there's a little thing called copyright infringement and trademark protection. If I had a company with a highly recognizeable logo like Porsche (or even a not so recognizeable one), and you started knocking off parts with my logo on it in absence of a licensing agreement...you would darn well be getting a note from some friendly attorney. A) that is not your logo to use, B) the crap people knock off and slap a factory logo on diminshes the reputation of the company when the product is inferior. The guy might make the best floormat in the world...but what's catching your eye is the Pcar logo...that's what people want...but if he doesn't have permission to use it that's VERY illegal.
