Ebay Carrera GT update
I have been back and forth with this guy that wants me to send him 200k down payment for the 350k CarreraGT. I now have his name and his bank wire info and he expects the money today. I am about to turn him over for fraud unless he can come up with the paper work showing he has a contract for the car....

Would not showing the paperwork constitute fraud? Although I find it surprising that someone would do business this way and is most likely a scam I don't see anything illegal here.
If on the off chance this guy is on the up-and-up then you'll look like the bad guy. Ask him for references from previous customers. Or contact Porsche NA (or the dealer) to see if he is on their customer list.

I am not really expect to own it, but at that price I could drive it for a while and still make a huge profit.

Who are you going to report him to? For what crime? I think you'll be very dissapointed when you find that law enforcement will have very little interest in this matter, if any at all.

Unfortunately, John is right. I had a guy in another state send me a fraudulent check for $25k (prior car sale). That was after I obtained his name, address, and bank account info, and the FBI was still not interested in pursuing it. And they wonder why these scams are so prevalent.

Jake, yea its sold out and I have seen people offering contracts for em at 600k so I am not expecting to get this one for 350k espeically since the sticker price is 440k.
I don't expect this guy to go to jail, I just want scare this piss out of him for being a jerk. I'l keep you posted. Like the fool he is he gave me his name his bank info too.
